Nach Bayern
werden Frauen vor allem aus Süd- und Osteuropa (z.B. Bulgarien) gehandelt und zur Prostitution gezwungen.
Opfer von Menschenhandel werden nach dem Aufgreifen durch die Polizei in Bayern
oftmals nicht als Opfer identifiziert und daher inhaftiert, für illegale
Prostitution bestraft, und abgeschoben. Nicht immer werden die Beratungsstellen
eingeschaltet, um die meist traumatisierten Frauen zu betreuen. Die sechs
bayerischen Beratungsstellen von Jadwiga und Solwodi können die Frauen
unterstützen, sie muttersprachlich beraten, eine sichere Unterbringung für sie
finden, sie zu Ärzten begleiten und materielle Grundsicherung für sie
beantragen.
Die Behörden
sehen Opfer von Menschenhandel nach wie vor oftmals nicht vorrangig als Opfer
schwerer Menschenrechtsverletzungen, sondern als Kriminelle. Doch: diese Frauen
haben massive Gewalt erlitten und brauchen daher Hilfe. Diese steht ihnen nach
europäischen Rechtsnormen zu.

weißrussischen Stadt Minsk. Das Projekt klärt jungen Frauen über die Risiken
dubioser Arbeitsangebote auf. Ohne Perspektiven in ihrer Heimat fallen sie nur
zu leicht auf die Angebote von Menschenhändlern herein.

They are mostly women from Southern and Eastern Europe
(for example Bulgaria) who are traded to Bavaria and forced to prostitution.
Since the police in Bavaria often does not detect them as victims of human
trafficking these women get arrested, sentenced for illegal prostitution and
deported. The police do not always contact a consultation centre to care for
the mostly traumatised women. The six Bavarian consultation centres of Jadwiga and Solwodi assist the victims, provide advise in
their mother tongue, find a safe accommodation for them, accompany them to a
physician and apply for a basic material support.
The authorities often are not aware of the fact that
this victims of human trafficking are victims of a serious abuse of human
rights. They treat them as criminals. But: these women have suffered brute
force and need help hence. They are entitled to this support by European legal
norms.
We claim:

a qualified social, psychological and medical care for
all victims of human trafficking,
·
offers for a professional qualification of the women
here or in their home countries,
·
a financial coverage of the existing consultation
centres,
·
a right of residence of at least three months for all
victims of human trafficking – independent of an appearance as a witness,
·
information about female trafficking in the countries
of origin,
·
that customers of prostitutes act responsible,
·
to prevent women and children in our society from male
violence.
TERRE DES FEMMES supports the prevention work
against female trafficking in Eastern
Europe. Please help and donate for the initiative Malinowka
at Minsk in Belorussia. This project informs young women about the risks of
dubious job offers. Being without any outlook in their home country they easily
fall for the offers of slave traders.
